To get myself started on research I began surfing trailer sites trying to get some inspiration, it was difficult not to get distracted by watching trailers of films I love but I did begin to find trailers that interested me or I thought would be possible to create as an Alevel media student, I really like the idea of a drama maybe, it’s simple and easy to recreate with what materials are available to me, the films that struck a chord were: ‘ where the wild things are’ and ‘winged creatues’
Although these trailers are both advertising a drama they are very different in their own unique ways, ‘where the wild things are’ is a drama but is also a family film, light hearted with a streak of fun running through it, in contrast ‘winged creatures’ is heavy, based on a crime and deeply about the people’s struggle with the events of that crime.

Good – but try to make your analysis a little more technical. In other words, focus on the sort of techniques that you are beginning to pick up on.
